Silent Rave

This fashion collection was based on the exercise of deconstructing two books: Paul B. Preciado’s Testo Junkie: Sex, Drugs, and Biopolitics in the Pharmacopornographic Era (2013) and Nav Haq’s (ed.) Rave: Rave and its Influence on Art and Culture (2016).

These two deconstructed publications were put in a conversation, resulting in a scrapbook titled Doctoring Preciado.

The ideas contained in the scrapbook are the offspring to the collection, which tries to address through the medium of fashion a main question:

what would a rave look like today?
